Introduce a business.
Earn a share of what we make on it, for up to three years.

Self-employed, commission only
Read this before anything else
This is not employment and we are not offering you a wage. You would be self-employed and paid only on business you introduce. There is no salary, no guaranteed income, no minimum hours, and you would be responsible for your own tax. We would rather say that on the first screen than have you find it out later.

Alongside what you do
Who tends to do this
You do not need experience in payments. Most people who do this well have none, and the part that matters is knowing a business owner well enough to have the conversation.
There is nothing to commit to and nothing to lose. It does not interfere with looking for anything else, and you can stop whenever you like.
Not a simulation of it. You would be having genuine commercial conversations with real business owners, and you would keep whatever you learn.
Introducing a business takes a conversation, not a shift. Most people who do this well are doing something else as their main thing.

Three steps
How it works
Register
A few minutes. We check you are a real, identifiable business and that the paperwork is in order. Nothing else.
Introduce someone
A business you already know, that takes card payments. You make the introduction. We do the rest of the work.
Earn while they trade
If they sign and they trade, you take a share of what we earn on them every month they keep trading, for the term your tier carries. Not a one-off finder fee.

Works both ways
If a month goes wrong
Some months a business costs us more to serve than it earns. Your share works both ways, so a negative month is carried forward and recovered out of what you earn next, before anything is paid to you. You are never asked to send money back, and if you leave while carrying a negative balance it is written off. We would rather you knew that now than the first month it happens.
No minimum, no hours
What we are not asking
No minimum volume, no fixed hours, no kit or branding requirement, no lock-in. You are paid on business you introduce, never on time spent.
You are never required to introduce anyone. If you introduce nobody, you owe us nothing and we owe you nothing.
There are no shifts, no targets and nobody checking when you work. You are paid on what you introduce, never on time spent.
You do not have to use our kit, wear anything, or represent yourself as working for Klipy. You are not.
You can stop at any point, and leaving does not trigger a demand for money back. If you are carrying a negative balance when you go, it is written off.
Someone else can make the introduction on your behalf. You stay the registered partner and the only one paid, and you remain responsible for that introduction.
If you are VAT registered, what you are paid is VAT inclusive. If you are not registered, which most partners are not, nothing is deducted and the question does not arise.
Becoming self-employed can affect your award, including a monthly reporting duty and a minimum-income assumption after your first year. Check gov.uk or speak to your work coach before registering.

Not a restriction
Beyond Croydon
We are looking for partners in Croydon and in these other areas. It is the same arrangement everywhere, so if you know a business outside them, introduce them anyway. Being in one of these areas is not a requirement and living outside them is not a barrier. We name them because that is where we are concentrating, not because anywhere else is closed.

Ask first
Still deciding?
Then do not register yet. Ask us what you want to know first, and if it is not for you, that is a perfectly good answer. Nobody will chase you.
